I was impressed by this guy yesterday and just heard a rumour that our manager had a chat with him after the game.
Have any of you heard anything? And would he be a good signing?
Cheers, good luck for the rest of the season. |

Reply with quote | #2 | Good player, quick, excellent crosser of the ball and good pedigree but you can't have him as we've only just signed him back this season and he's a lynch pin for us!
Fair enough if the lad gets a chance though.
Congrats as well, you had that bit of quality we didn;t and the fitness told a bit but I think our boys gave you a good game and we're proud of em!
Good luck at home to Yeovil. |

Just two points, firstly Matt Bodkin says that he never spoke to any from Oxford Utd, secondly, he a contract player! Guess it was just a rumour. |

Reply with quote | #6 | BJ, if someone at my company asked if I had spoken to a competitor I would say no.
Also, you say that Matt has a contract and that is true, but if a player wants to go there is no stopping them realistically.
However, I would also say that Matt Bodkin seems to play his best football at Thurrock, he is a class act. I certainly hope that he stays (and there is nothing to indicate that he will leave) and gets to be a Conference National player next season at this club!! |
